~ May all beings be free from suffering ~

The west side meditation group meets twice a month.

On the second Tuesday of each month, we meet at a west-side library. At the current time, we are meeting at the  North Olmsted Public Library, 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM.

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, the group meets at the Westshore Unitarian Church in Rocky River, from 7:00 PM till 8:30 PM.  The address of the church is 20401 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River, Ohio.

PLEASE NOTE:  Because we only meet twice a month and do not always meet at the same place, we maintain a Westside Reminder email list.  If you are not on the Westside reminder email list, please check our Calendar before coming to the group to be sure where we are meeting on the evening that you plan to attend.

The format for our meetings is as follows:

   ~ 10 - 15 minutes of sitting meditation

~ 30 - 40  minutes for dharma talk and discussion

~ 30 minutes of sitting meditation (this is often a guided meditation)

~ remainder of the time is used for discussion and questions

Our discussion time is used for questions about meditation practice, for checking in with each other on how our meditation practice is going, or for discussion of the dharma talk or guided meditation.

West Side Meditation Group

All Are Welcome

We welcome all to come and join us in meditation, whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for years.  This group often gets visitors with no meditation experience who are interested in finding out more about meditation.

If you would would like a reminder...

Because this group does not meet each week, we have a special email list that we use to send a reminder the day before we are meeting.  We also use this list to send out notices if the schedule or location must change for any reason.

If you would like to be added to the Westside Reminder Email List, please sign up for it here.

Each meeting we have a different topic for the dharma talk.  Each session stands on its own and requires no previous experience with meditation.
